IA Cloud Developer v10.1.6
release date
August 21, 2020
IA Cloud Developer v10.1.6 is compatible with IA Cloud Enterprise v10.1.6. For the download link, refer to the installation instruction.
System requirements
The supported operating systems are as follows:
- Windows 8
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 10
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2016
note
In IA Cloud Enterprise v10.1.6, the set of IA Cloud Developer supported operating systems changes. Due to the upgrade to MS SQL Express 2016 (SP2), the support of Windows 7 ends. As Microsoft ended the extended support of Windows 7 in 2020, our new software releases do not support Windows 7 any longer.
Compatibility
- IA Cloud Developer v10.1.6 uses the same versions of components as IA Cloud Enterprise v10.1.6, which guarantees full compatibility.
- Playback of Bot Configurations created in earlier 10.x versions works.
- Playback of Recorder scripts created in earlier versions works.
- Usage of build tools, for example, bundle-maven-plugin, included in 10.1.6 installation may cause problems interacting with the IA Cloud Enterprise environment of lower versions. We recommend setting a lower version of the bundle-maven-plugin as your project's dependency.
IA Cloud Developer installation
- Intelligent AUtomation Cloud Developer installation supports ABBYY FRE11 and FRE12. Installation includes two licenses for 5,000 pages, one for each version. To renew any of your licenses, see Request and activate OCR license.
- Nexus binary repository is included in Intelligent Automation Cloud Developer installation.
- ODF v10.1.0.25 components are available for usage right after the Intelligent Automation Cloud Developer installation.
- We reduced the complexity of the local environment configuration. Now, you need to configure .m2 settings only. For more information, refer to Eclipse IDE | Set up environment.
- WorkFusion Studio and local Control Tower can perform Bot Execution on a local machine. The same digital worker as in Intelligent Automation Cloud Enterprise v10.1.6 is used.
clean installandbundle:importMaven goals now can run with the-Premote-deployprofile for deployment to the remote environment and with the default profile to deploy to the local environment. See more details in Eclipse IDE | Publish bundle to Control Tower.
Studio
- The Publish Bot Task menu item is removed in favor of the Maven-based project deployment.
- In File > New, we replaced AutoML SDK, WorkFusion Bot Task Bundle, and WorkFusion project with New ODF project from Archetype.
- By default, Studio doesn't ask for a Secure Storage password on each launch. Those who install IA Cloud Developer v10.1.6 on top of older versions or who had Studio as a part of IA Cloud Business can go to Preferences > Secure Storage and select the Never ask for password authentication provider manually. Those who prefer to be asked for a Studio Security Storage password each time WorkFusion Studio launches, select the UI Prompt provider manually.
Recorder
The Recorder capability provides all the needed features to automate web, desktop, and mainframe applications in a natural macro-like way without any coding or scripting.
Local Control Tower
- You can edit Bot Configurations created in the Recorder script and published to Control Tower.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented Bot Tasks from executing locally when opened in WorkFusion Project Navigator.
- Fixed an issue that led to creating of a new Global Variable instead of renaming the existing one.
