Upgrade from 10.2.9.12 to 10.2.9.13

The guide describes upgrading the Work.AI platform from v10.2.9.12 to v10.2.9.13.

Prerequisites​

  • You have Work.AI up and running.
  • All Business Processes are stopped.

Remember to run the commands as APPLICATION_USER.

Upgrade​

To apply the patch, do the following:

  1. On the Master1 server, download the patch package and extract it into the directory with the existing installer. Make sure to follow the same directory structure as in the example below when downloading and extracting the patch package:

    cd /opt/workfusion/wf_installer/
    mkdir -pv ./patches
    cd ./patches/

    curl -k -o 'patch_10.2.9.13.tar.gz' 'https://DOWNLOAD_LINK'

    tar xzf patch_10.2.9.13.tar.gz

    A new directory named patch_10.2.9.13 with the patch content appears.

  2. Navigate to the directory with the patch content and run the command to apply it as in the example below:

    export ANSIBLE_PRIVATE_KEY_FILE="/PATH/TO/SSH-PRIVATE-KEY" && export ANSIBLE_VAULT_PASS='YOUR_ANSIBLE_VAULT_PASS'
    cd ./patch_10.2.9.13
    ./patch_10.2.9.13.sh apply

    Wait for 10 minutes till the patch is successfully applied.

Patch affects only MASTERs, so it is not required to apply it on AGENT(s) in a multi-point setup. However, if your environment is deployed in a multi-point setup, you need to define additional arguments as shown in the example below:

./patch_10.2.9.13.sh apply -c local --limit master[0]  # When applying for the Master1 server
./patch_10.2.9.13.sh apply -c local --limit master[1]  # When applying for the Master2 server (for HA mode)
./patch_10.2.9.13.sh apply -c local --limit master[2]  # When applying for the Master3 server (for HA mode)
