Enable WebDriver log generation and rotation

Enable log generation

To enable WebDriver log generation, add the following option to the worker.bat or worker-java21.bat files, respectively:

  • ChromeDriver logs:

    -Dwebdriver.chrome.logfile=../logs/unit%unit_id%/chrome.log^
  • Edge WebDriver logs:

    -Dwebdriver.edge.logfile=../logs/unit%unit_id%/edge.log^
  • IEDriver logs:

    -Dwebdriver.ie.driver.logfile=../logs/unit%unit_id%/ie.driver.log^
    -Dwebdriver.ie.driver.loglevel=DEBUG^

Enable log rotation

To enable WebDriver log rotation, add the following option to the worker.bat or worker-java21.bat files, respectively:

-Drpa.archive.log.webdriver=true^

The log from the latest driver execution is located in the RPA/logs/unit<X>/<driver>.log file. Before a new driver execution, the log file generated during the previous driver execution is archived in the RPA/logs/unit<X>/webdriver/<driver>_<timestamp>.log path.
