‎Load BCB from Nexus

Symptoms

After clicking Advanced > Bot Configurations > Import from the Repository, the message about the import start is shown, however, an artifact is not loaded. To identify the root cause for the issue, it is necessary to check the configuration.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

1. If you redeploy the artifact to Nexus, change groupId, artifactId and version (GAV) as the application checks if this GAV exists and downloads only those artifacts where GAVs do not exist.

2. Perform the following steps from the Master server to exclude a configuration issue:

   • Make sure that the Nexus user specified in the security properties has correct credentials.

      $INSTALL_DIR/wf-sec-storage/loader.sh workfusion review | grep nexus
     [INFO ] nexus.url : nexus.url : https://nexus-lb.lita.com:443/nexus/
     [INFO ] nexus.user : nexus.user : 
     [INFO ] nexus.password : nexus.password : 
     

   • Make sure that the webharvest.machine.config.bundle.repo and webharvest.plugins.dir properties in the workfusion.properties file (\$INSTALL_DIR/workfusion/webapps/workfusion/WEB-INF/classes/properties/workfusion.properties) have correct values:

     #should point to existing dir on APP
     webharvest.machine.config.bundle.dir=${webapp.root}/../crowdcontoldata/bot-config-bundle/  
     #should point to existing repository on the nexus side
     webharvest.machine.config.bundle.repo=wf-machine-config-bundle
     

3. Check that there are no issues with the artifact itself. For example, there can be issues with the following dependencies:

   [ERROR] Error downloading/importing machine config bundle test:test:0.0.1
   java.lang.NullPointerException: Failed to find config 'config2' included to 'config1'
   

4. When the configuration above is correct, rerun Import from Repository and provide the WorkFusion Support team with the following logs:

   Master server:
   INSTALL_DIR/supervisord/log/workfusion.out.log
   INSTALL_DIR/supervisord/log/workfusion.err.log
   INSTALL_DIR/workfusion/log/catalina.log
   DB server:
   INSTALL_DIR/supervisord/log/nexus.*.log
