MySQL Workbench 600 second timeout

Problem

MySQL Workbench interrupts a connection in 600 seconds. The timeout is hardcoded.

Solution

Set up the required timeout within the MySQL Workbench settings:

1. Go to Edit > Preferences > SQL Editor.
2. Set DBMS connection read time out (in seconds) to a higher value.
