Basic setup
Before the installation, ensure that you have prepared the servers and executed the precheck:
- Master server
- AGENT server(s)
- RPA server
- BI server
Remember to run the following commands as the application user from the directory, where you have downloaded and extracted the installation package, for example, /opt/workfusion/wf_installer.
cd PACKAGE_DIR # /opt/workfusion/wf_installer
note
If your security policy doesn't allow users to have sudo privileges, you can execute the preinstall root steps as another user, which already has sudo permissions. All you have to do is to provide ownership of the PACKAGE_DIR directory to that user, perform preinstall, and then revert ownership.
To install Linux server components:
On the Master server, run the following commands:
$ ./install.sh preinstall master -c local --limit <current_host> # execute the root steps $ ./install.sh install master -c local --limit <current_host> # run installationOn the AGENT server, run the following commands:
$ ./install.sh preinstall agent -c local --limit <current_host> # execute the root steps $ ./install.sh install agent -c local --limit <current_host> # run installationTo install multiple AGENT servers, run the above commands on each AGENT server. Remember to change the
--limitparameter accordingly for each server. It must reflect the hostname of the server, on which you are executing the command.note
The OCR-Worker services are installed on the AGENT server automatically.
On the Master server, check the installation:
$ ./install.sh check master -c local --limit <current_host>On the AGENT server, check the installation:
$ ./install.sh check agent -c local --limit <current_host>
