The Evelyn v4.0.1 release improves the handling of Thomson Reuters (TR) connector responses, enhancing Evelyn’s ability to correctly interpret incoming data and prevent incorrect downstream decisions.

• Resolved the issue with date parsing by the TR connector, ensuring that invalid or incorrectly formatted dates no longer cause processing failures or inconsistent decision outputs.

• Fixed the issue where watchlist entities (WLEs) containing invalid fields were not handled correctly. Such WLEs are now properly filtered, marked as NEED_REVIEW, logged with their wleId, and excluded from further processing to prevent incorrect alert decisions.

• Resolved the issue where certain entity types returned by the TR connector were not parsed correctly. Now, valid entity types are consistently mapped to the correct entity category, while invalid types are properly flagged, logged, and excluded from the final results.

The release updates Evelyn to ensure full compatibility with Work.AI v10.3. To support the new dependency requirements, Evelyn's codebase was migrated to Java 21, and all third-party libraries were upgraded to their latest compatible versions. These updates improve long-term maintainability, enhance runtime performance, and reduce operational risk associated with deprecated components.

To simplify setup, Evelyn now uses the external Thomson Reuters CLEAR Connector for all related screening tasks. As part of this change, the Names Screening TR Ongoing Monitoring Business Process has been removed, and the Thomson Reuters CLEAR configuration is no longer available in AI Agent's settings.
