View Business Process results
See BP events and errors
To find out about the events (bot or user actions) or errors during a Business Process (BP) execution, refer to the BP event log. To access it, click the event log icon you can find on the BP list page and the Results tab.

The Event log popup appears:

When a user logs into a Control Tower instance using a time zone different from the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the Business Process event log and any exported event log sheets are in GMT, irrespective of the user time zone.

View BP results
To access a comprehensive overview of a Business Process and its elements, navigate to the Results tab. It shows:
- BP structure
- Instance-specific data
- Statistics for every BP element
- Failed BP elements and errors that caused the failure
- Execution results of individual tasks in a BP
- Workers' names, answers, and feedback for individual Manual Tasks
The appearance of some tabs may vary, depending on the specific user permissions and license.

In general, the Results tab has two areas:
Information Header

1. Instance menu
The instance drop-down menu provides information about the BP structure. Instances are displayed in the order of their execution. The first position is always the entire BP.

Choose an individual instance from the tree structure to display its Results tab. The current instance is displayed in bold.
The icon to the left of the instance name denotes its type or status:

To expand the components of a sub-process, select the arrow sign (>) near its title.

2. Instance data

Instance-specific data comprises:
- Version
- Author and creation date
- Execution status
- Event log
- Automation status
- Business Process tags
- Unread workers' messages
The layout is defined by the selected instance type and user licenses.
Tab view
The Tab view may have different sections, depending on the BP element you selected in the instance menu.

Generally, the following rules apply to the Tab view sections:
- Only Summary is available for sub-processes, Bot Tasks, and a BP with Bot Tasks only.
- For a BP with both Manual and Bot Task, the tab comprises Summary, Workers, Feedback.
- For Manual Tasks, available sections are Summary, Workers, Assignments, Feedback.
The Workers tab is displayed only provided the user has the MANAGE_WORKERS permission. For details, refer to Role Management.
To view specific information, select an appropriate tab:
Summary

The Summary tab displays up to three blocks that you can expand by clicking their header:
Statistics
Statistics is shown for any instance type. The look of the Statistics tab depends on the type of the selected instance.

To update the Statistics view, click the Refresh button.
Steps
The Steps section is shown for compound instances: BP or sub-processes. It displays the instance structure. You can manage each instance: view statistics and complete event logs, generate snapshots of the process, evaluate Cognitive Bots, and so on. The actions you can select depend on the instance type and license.

To update the view, click the Refresh button.
Data
The Data section is displayed for Manual or Bot steps.
Final Results
The Final Results section is shown for a BP if at least one record has passed through all the steps. This section displays each record in a selected instance.

If no record has passed through the BP yet, you see the following message:

To update the view, click the Refresh button.
Workers
The Workers tab provides an overview of all human workers for a Manual Task (or BP if selected).

Assignments
The Assignments tab displays information about the workers' answers related to a specific task.

Feedback
The Feedback tab is available for Manual Tasks or BPs with Manual Tasks. It contains all messages from workers for the selected element.

Unread messages have a blue background. Select a message to read the full text, reply to, or delete it.

To go back to the list view of all messages, click All Messages.
Actions

Available actions include the following:

Table tools
The table tools apply to all tables on the Results tab: Data, Final Results, Workers, Assignments. The tools are as follows:
Table settings
In the right corner of the table, select the cogwheel button to choose the columns you want displayed in your table view.

Export
Click the Export button to export any table in the format of your choice. Only columns selected in the table settings are exported.

Filter
Filter through table columns using one or multiple parameters.

View All BPs
To view all BPs with their details, go to Business Processes > View All Business Processes. For details, refer to View all Business Processes
