Modify system preferences

The System Preferences page contains all Control Tower parameters, but it is available only to users with Administrator privileges. To access it, go to System Settings > System preferences.

Account settings

The Account Settings tab allows you to add, edit, enable, or disable the licenses for the endpoints where the Work.AI platform sends work. On the tab, you can also set preferences for a user account.

Account Settings

Licenses

The endpoints for which you can set licenses include Workspace and other worker portals. A license is a WorkFusion object containing the address and credentials to connect and post tasks to the service.

To add a license, perform the following actions:

  1. Go to System Settings > System Preferences > Account Settings.

  2. Click Add License.

  3. Enter license parameters:

    • License name
    • Domain name
    • AWS Account ID
    • AWS Secret Key (provided by WorkFusion)
  4. Click Save and then Test connection.

Preferences

In the Preferences section, you can configure the following settings:

  • Timezone. Select a timezone. All time values shown within the Work.AI platform are based on the timezone setting.

  • Notification E-mails. Enter email addresses where you want notifications to be sent. Use a comma to separate listed items.

  • Send email in case processing issues. Select to send an email to all users in the Notification E-mails list if a Manual Task (MT) or Business Process (BP) has processing issues. The notification contains the following information:

    • BP name with a link
    • Name of the BP step with processing issues
    • Name of the user who started the MT
    • Date and time when the MT was started
    • Latest stack trace
  • Show Empty Runs. Select to show empty runs.

  • Snapshot Type (applied to Manual Tasks only). Select the desired format from the drop-down list:

    • CSV (comma-separated value)
    • XLSX spreadsheet
  • Count Of Records for Re-training. Identify the number of records for re-training. The parameter is used to override that of the corresponding ML model. To use the value, select it in the Automation BP Settings.

  • Proxy URL. Specify the URL of the proxy server used in Information Extraction.

User settings

The User Settings tab allows you to configure your user account settings, such as editing your first and last name, password, timezone preference, and email notifications.

To start managing your user settings, go to System Settings > System Preferences > User Settings or click the user icon in the top right corner and select User Settings.

The following settings are available:

  • User Timezone. Set a custom timezone that is different from the WorkFusion system.

  • Mail Notification Configuration. Set the events that trigger email notifications and reports (daily, monthly). The available options are as follows:
