VDS system requirements
- Unless stated otherwise, "Disk space" denotes the addressable space left on the single partition where you plan to install the software after the disk has been formatted with a filesystem.
- For the installation it is advised to use HDD/SDD volumes mounted separately from the root volume of the operating system.
- Recommended amount of Slaves may vary, maximum amount up to 10
VDS supports two types of installation:
- VDS Standalone: all VDS components (VDS Master + NFS Share + one VDS Slave) are installed and run on a single server.
- VDS Cluster: a combination of one VDS Master + one or more VDS Slaves. Smaller size machines can be used to stack up the required total capacity.
- VDS Cluster may have two variations:
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on VDS Master Server;
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on a separate server (NFS server provided by customer or NFS server provisioned by installer)

Virtualized environments
In addition to working on physical servers, all of WorkFusion’s products operate in virtualized environments, provided they are configured with the proper underlying operating system and minimum resource requirements. Known compatible virtualized environments: Citrix environments, Microsoft Hyper-V, Parallels, VMware vMotion, VMware vSphere, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
