High-level architecture
VDS architecture
VDS supports two types of installation.
- VDS Standalone: VDS Master + NFS Share + one VDS Slave on the same server. The VDS Standalone type is shown above in the high-level architecture diagram.
- VDS Cluster: a combination of one VDS Master + one or more VDS Slaves on separate servers.
- VDS Cluster may have two variations:
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on VDS Master Server
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on a separate server (NFS server provided by customer or NFS server provisioned by the installer)
