Upgrade BI Server

To upgrade the WorkFusion Analytics Server and Desktop, perform the following steps:

1. Back up custom dashboards.

   If there are any custom dashboards deployed, back up them as described in WorkFusion Analytics custom dashboards backup and restore.

2. Deactivate WorkFusion Analytics Server and Desktop product keys.

   The deactivated key will be required to activate the new version of WorkFusion Analytics.

3. Uninstall WorkFusion Analytics Server and Desktop.

   Uninstall WorkFusion Analytics Server and Desktop using the standard Control Panel items.

4. Install the new version.

   Install the new version of WorkFusion Analytics Server and Desktop as described in BI Windows Server installation.

5. Restore custom dashboards.

   If you have previously backed up any custom dashboards, restore them using the following section in WorkFusion Analytics custom dashboards backup and restore.
