Maintenance

The article contains steps and order how to reboot servers during the green zones or any other maintenance.

Prerequisites

• The steps are valid only to Linux Servers (DB, APP, APM, OCR, AutoML [Cluster]).
• Windows Servers will be recovered automatically.
  • RPA services use Task Scheduler task(s) to start automatically after the reboot
  • BI service is added to autostart
• The steps below should be done by <WF_USER>,, for example, wfuser.
• Available Server roles:

  • apm – APM server

  • app – APP server

  • db – DB server

  • ocr – OCR server

  • vds-master – AutoML Master server*

  • vds-slave – AutoML Agent server*

    * The VDS acronym refers to a legacy Workfusion product called Virtual Data Scientist. AutoML (Automatic Machine Learning) is the name of the latest component that does was VDS did previously. All references to VDS are references to AutoML.

Linux Servers

1. Log into the servers in the following order and run the command below:

   1. APM
   2. OCR
   3. AutoML Agent server(s)
   4. AutoML Master server
   5. APP
   6. DB

   wfmanager stop all
   

2. Reboot the servers in the following order:

   1. DB
   2. APP
   3. AutoML Master server
   4. AutoML Agent server(s)
   5. OCR
   6. APM

1. All services will come automatically. Log into each server and check services:

   wfmanager status all
   

   Run check command:

   cd <PACKAGE_DIR>/
   ./install.sh check <server_role>
