Upgrade to RPA Server 9.2.3.0

To upgrade RPA Server under Windows, perform the following steps:

  1. Back up your current installation. Copy RPA folder (C:\RPA) to C:\RPA_old.

  2. Uninstall RPA using the respective item from Programs and Features in Control Panel.

  3. Install RPA as described in RPA Windows Server installation.

  4. If hub.json and nodeX.json in C:\RPA\rpa-grid\ have been modified in the previous installation for any particular purposes, merge the changes manually.

  5. From the backup folder, restore the following files to their corresponding paths:

    • The nginx.conf file in the C:/RPA_old/nginx/conf directory.
    • All files in the C:/RPA_old/rpa-grid directory except rpa-desktop <version>.jar and the dependency, drivers, and extensions directories.
    • All files in the C:/RPA_old/wfagent/conf directory.
    • All files in the C:/RPA_old/wfagent/bin directory.

  6. Restart RPA server.
