Health check messages

The article lists health check messages that are shown in Platform Monitor. Platform Monitor receives health check messages from the WorkFusion components via API.

Tableau Warning Tableau secure properties for Dashboard and Automation do not match. Dashboard reports might not be displayed. Check that secure properties match as follows:

tableau.dashboard.host equal tableau.automation.host;
tableau.dashboard.username equal tableau.automation.username;
tableau.dashboard.password equal tableau.automation.password.
WFBI Error The WFBI service secure username or/and password properties are not set. Automation might not be operating. Define the secure wfbi.username and wfbi.password properties.
SSO Error

Error parsing the identity provider for Single Sign On in the following file %wf.sso.SSO.idp.file.metadata. %Error message%
SSO Error The Service Provider ID property is not set for Single Sign On. Define the secure wf.sso.SSO.sp.metadata property.
SSO Error The secure username attribute p roperty is not defined for Single Sign On. Define the secure wf.sso.SSO.username.attribute=username property. If you do not have the username attribute, contact your Security Administrator.

LDAP Integration without groups\roles is enabled
ImageMagick Warning The ImageMagick image conversion library is not found. The OCR pre-processing step cannot be executed correctly. Set up the ImageMagick library.
GhostScript Warning The GhostScript image conversion library is not found. The OCR pre-processing step cannot be executed correctly. Set up the GhostScript library. GhostScript is a secondary tool used for OCR. This warning can be ignored in case either OCR or GhostScript capabilites are not used by the designed Business Process.
License Warning The %s license has zero account balance. Manual tasks can not be published to production environment under this license.

Zero account balance prevents paid tasks to be executed. However for most of the on-premise installations paid tasks capability is not used and this warning can be ignored.

In order to eliminate the warning, increase Account balance using SQL query.

OCR

  1. MongoDB is up.
  2. The network between MongoDB node and ocr-rest node is operational.
S3/GridFS storage Error

Failed loading a file: + e.getMessage()

Possible causes:

  1. S3/MongoDB (depending on the active profile in the configuration) is not reachable from ocr-rest.
  2. MongoDB is down.
  3. OCR Service is not operative.

Remedy:

Make sure:

  1. S3/MongoDB is up.
  2. The network between the MongoDB node and the ocr-rest node is operational.
S3/GridFS storage Error

Save operation failed during a storage test: + e.getMessage()

Possible causes:

  1. S3/MongoDB (depending on the active profile in configuration) is not reachable from ocr-rest.
  2. The connection is not configured correctly.
  3. MongoDB is down.
  4. OCR Service is not operational.

Remedy:

Make sure:

  1. S3/MongoDB is up.
  2. The connection is configured properly.
  3. The network between the MongoDB node and the ocr-rest node is operational.
RabbitMQ Error

Receive operation failed with an error during MQ test: ", e

Possible causes:

  1. RabbitMQ or MongoDB (depending on the active profile in configuration) is not reachable from ocr-rest or ocr-worker.
  2. RabbitMQ or MongoDB is down.
  3. ocr-worker is down.
  4. OCR Service is not operational.

Remedy:

Make sure:

  1. RabbitMQ or MongoDB is up.
  2. The network between RabbitMQ/MongoDB node and ocr-rest node is operational.
RabbitMQ/Mongo DB Error

A bad message payload was received, expected='" + expectedPayload + "' actual='" + actual + "'"

Possible causes:

  1. An incompatible version of ocr-worker is deployed.
  2. Message Queue for Health Check has incorrect custom configurations.
  3. OCR Service is not operational.

Remedy:

Make sure:

  1. Compatible version if ocr-worker is deployed
  2. ocr-worker is up and has the correct connection settings to RabbitMQ/MongoDB.
  3. Message Queue for Health Check is configured properly and consistent between ocr-rest and ocr-worker.
RabbitMQ Error

A message was not received during MQ testing, expected='" + expectedPayload + "', workers supposedly are not handling messages in MQ".

Possible causes:

  1. RabbitMQ/MongoDB (depending on the active profile in configuration) is not reachable from OCR-worker
  2. OCR-worker is not operational.
  3. Wrong version of ocr-worker is deployed.
  4. Message Queue for Health Check has incorrect custom configurations.
  5. OCR Service is not operational.

Remedy:

Make sure:

  1. RabbitMQ or MongoDB is up.
  2. ocr-worker is up and has the correct connection settings to RabbitMQ/MongoDB.
  3. Message Queue for Health Check is configured properly and consistent between ocr-rest and ocr-worker.
RabbitMQ Error Failed sending a message to RabbitMQ. Check that RabbitMQ is up and running.
ocr-worker Error No reports from OCR-workers are found or the reports have expired. Check number of the OCR-workers operating on the server and of the OCR-workers number is less then required start required OCR-worker number.
ocr-worker Error

Possible causes:

  1. MongoDB is not reachable from OCR-wokers.
  2. OCR-workers are not opertational.
