Manage secure properties
WorkFusion instances have a utility to manage the secure properties. To find it, use the path below:
${INSTALL_DIR}/apps/webapps/wf_sec_storage/loader.sh
Run the utility with the following parameters:
- component name defines the component to process:
workfusionworkspacesandboxwfagent
- action defines if the properties are reviewed or updated:
review: read the content of the secured storageproperties_file: the path to the properties file containing the secure properties to add, update or delete.
Read properties
If you need to read the application configuration properties, you should run the utility with the action set to review.
Example:
sh loader.sh workspace review
As a result, it returns a list of all secured properties with values, which are available for the defined component.
Edit properties
Using the utility you can modify the secure properties. Define the name of the file containing the properties to be modified in the action parameter.
Add new property
To add a new secure property, define the properties and their values in the properties file.
Update property
To edit the secure properties, define the existing properties with new
values in the properties file.
Example:
sh loader.sh workfusion workfusion-secure.properties
Delete property
To remove a secure property, add the property to the properties file with an empty value.
Properties file example:
mturkds.database.password=new_password
ldap.server.url=
If the properties file is created in the same folder with the utility (for example, the file is named as new_values.properties), the full path is not necessary, so you can call the utility as shown below:
sh loader.sh workfusion new_values.properties
