Application performance management integration

WorkFusion provides Platform Monitor out of the box for controlling, maintaining and do predictive analysis of the WorkFusion components and infrastructure health.
Platform Monitor API
It makes sense to integrate Platform Monitor health checks and alerts into the existing Application Performance Management lifecycle.
The most effective approach to integrate is to utilize the Platform Monitor API.
The Platform Monitor aggregates all the various checks and validations of all the WorkFusion components in the unified REST API.

Integration approach
On the diagram above:
Low-level environment health and system components metrics.
WorkFusion Platform Monitor Agents collect base system metrics (disk, CPU, and so on).
Organization APM can be enabled in parallel to monitor standard set of system metrics established in the organization.
WorkFusion components health
WorkFusion Platform Monitor Agents collect metrics of specific WorkFusion components and component groups.
Organization APM can be enabled in parallel to take the metrics from the agents and integrate it in the standard monitoring process established in the organization.
WorkFusion proactive statistics and alerts
WorkFusion Platform Monitor Aggregator analyzes all the collected metrics to do proactive monitoring (predictive alerts or historical event analysis and custom metrics).
Organization APM can be enabled in parallel to take the results of analysis from the WorkFusion Platform Monitor Aggregator and integrate it in the standard monitoring process established in the organization.
Options to consider
WorkFusion Platform Monitor aggregator is lightweight component and can reside on the same physical server as the APP Server.
Downside: APP server crash will cause all the metrics to be unavailable (false-indicating the whole platform crash).
