High-level architecture

VDS supports two types of installation.

VDS Standalone: VDS Master + NFS Share + one VDS Slave on the same server. The VDS Standalone type is shown above in the "High Level Architecture" diagram.
VDS Cluster: a combination of one VDS Master + one or more VDS Slaves on separate servers.
VDS Cluster may have two variations:
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on VDS Master Server;
- VDS Cluster with NFS share on a separate server (NFS server provided by customer or NFS server provisioned by installer)
