Troubleshooting

  • Check configuration for syntax errors or warnings:

    ${install_dir}/php/usr/sbin/php-fpm -t --fpm-config ${install_dir}/php/etc/php-fpm.conf -c ${install_dir}/php/etc/php.ini

    The successful result is:

    $ /opt/workfusion/php/usr/sbin/php-fpm -t --fpm-config /opt/workfusion/php/etc/php-fpm.conf -c /opt/workfusion/php/etc/php.ini

  • Check if TCP port 9001 is available.

    Ports may be custom:

    netstat command output

    $ netstat -lntp | grep php

    ss command output

    $ ss -ltn | grep 9001

    lsof command output

    $ lsof -P -n -i :9001 | grep LISTEN

  • Count the number of running php processes. This should not be less than 1.

    pgrep command output

    pgrep php | wc -l

  • Check the default main log files:

    • Access logs: ${install_dir}/supervisord/log/php-fpm.out.log
    • Error logs: ${install_dir}/supervisord/log/php-fpm.err.log
    $ tail -f ${install_dir}/supervisord/log/php-fpm.err.log ${install_dir}/supervisord/log/php-fpm.out.log

  • Check php-fpmout logs using the Wfmanager util.

    wfmanager tail php-fpm
